Krugh
The Visual Prayer
My biography
Visual Artist
KRUGH est un artiste plasticien basé dans les alpes maritimes dont l’œuvre naît d’une traversée intérieure.
His paintings and installations bring forth raw signs and red words, confronting chaos and ligh to release a breath of life.
Born in 1975, he is rooted in an experience where silence, trials and inner drive open painting as a space of truth.
After several exhibitions, a turning point occurred : vulnerability transformed his language, and red appeared as a founding fire.
In 2021, he discovered -eyes closes- this his hand drew more authentically without force : a raw and spiritual writing was born.
Since then, his work has evolved as a quest for embodiment, balancing the visible and invisible, fracture and hope.
Totemic figures, names signs, wounded fragments : his works create thresholds between matter and breath.
Each piece is experienced as a meeting of rupture and light.
His recent body of work, including POP CORN AND PRAYERS and THE VISUAL PRAYER, asserts a fully realized artistic identity.
Committed, his art offers a breach, an offering, an experience of life's breath in an anesthetized world.
